David has spent more than 20 years working at senior level in the Human Resource industry, including roles within the specialist areas of Career Management, Recruitment, Change Management and Transition.
Enthusiastic, client focused and inclusive, David is passionate about ‘going the extra mile’ for CDL clients. David is an absolute people’s person and thoroughly enjoys supporting and encouraging the clients he works with.
David is motivated to deliver the highest levels of customer service at all times. He develops and maintains effective client relationships and with his excellent rapport building skills is comfortable working with clients at all levels within a business.
David has been coaching with CDL for more than five years ago and brings a passion for ensuring that client needs are understood and well managed. He has a relaxed and engaging style which clients trust, respect and enjoy. His professional background in recruitment is used to optimal effect when coaching people who are in active job search.
David is driven by the opportunity to ‘make a difference’ with the clients he coaches. He aims to support yet encourage some stretch for them, when appropriate, in their career journey moving forward.
David has a Graduate Certificate in Career Development from the Auckland Institute of Technology and a Diploma in Personnel Management and Human Resources from the University of Auckland.
Qualified to administer the Myers Briggs Type Indicator, David is a Professional Member of the Association of Psychological Type and of the Human Resource Institute of New Zealand.
