Gary joined CDL in 2018 as the Private Sector National Account Manager. Based in Auckland Gary takes responsibility for providing our clients with an immersive and superior CDL experience, ensuring that high quality client relationship management is consistently maintained.
Gary has spent over fifteen years in Corporate Business Development and Account Management specialising in human resources and talent acquisition across both private and public sector in New Zealand and the UK.
Gary uses his passion and enthusiasm to engage with people at all levels of seniority. He enjoys and excels at building rapport, cultivating strong relationships with clients and gaining a solid understanding of the needs and pressure points that exist within businesses.
Gary’s drive, determination and ability to always explore the bigger picture to identify the strategic goals within a business means that clients’ needs and expectations will always come first. As a result, Gary is well known for developing and maintaining long term relationships with clients and becoming a Trusted Advisor within businesses across multiple industry sectors.
With considerable people leadership skill and experience, Gary has experienced first-hand the issues that often confront those responsible for leading individuals and teams. Gary uses this experience to partner with clients, to identify the core issues and then to recommend practical solutions that will quickly address the burning needs at individual, team or business level.
In previous roles, Gary has established and implemented assessment centre methodology, made CEO and Board level presentations, facilitated seminars and has been nominated for and won several national awards in recognition of his expertise in consultative account management.
