Karen has over in 24 years commercial management, learning and development and general HR experience within corporate and consulting industries.
Practical, empowering and adaptable, Karen blends this wide ranging experience in business with her passion for supporting and coaching at all levels. As a Lead Coach for CDL in the South Island, Karen facilitates training workshops and one on one coaching programmes.
In her role with CDL, Karen thrives in the facilitation of workshops and one on one coaching that drives professional and personal success.
She has an extensive background knowledge of commercial business practices and is highly adept at assisting people who are impacted by workplace change or who wish to enhance their personal development and / or their leadership capability.
Karen swiftly develops positive rapport with her coaching clients and in a calm and unassuming manner is able to quickly identify an individual’s key strengths. She creates a welcoming environment to enable constructive coaching discussions to take place.
When facilitating leadership or development workshops on client site, Karen is able to promptly understand the learning needs of the group and customises her training style and approach accordingly. Karen holds qualifications in Industrial Psychology along with Certificates in Adult Learning and Teaching and Human Resources Management.
She is committed to her own professional development through on-going programmes, accreditation in DISC behavioural profiling and is a past member of the New Zealand Association of Training and Development.
