Lauren comes to CDL with more than fifteen years experience in Consulting and Account Management specialising in Business Transformation, Change, Finance and Recruitment across both private and public sectors in New Zealand and the UK.

Lauren uses her down to earth and warm nature to engage with clients at all levels of seniority. She has a genuine interest in getting to know the people she meets in a real ‘below the surface’ way. This enables her to build rapport and strong lasting relationships with clients, delving deeply into their needs and changing pressure points that call for attention.

Lauren’s innate curiosity and openness to exploring new ways of thinking, coupled with an analytical ‘maths brain’ enables her to quickly envisage the big picture while drilling down into the finer detail, applying practical change for her clients’ needs. Lauren is regarded as a Trusted Advisor in both her personal and professional life. As a result, she has an established loyal network across public sector New Zealand.

With considerable exposure across Public Sector, a strong understanding of the machinery of government and from her own corporate experience, Lauren has seen first-hand the issues within people capability and the damage that can be created to the morale and productivity within business, if left unaddressed. With three years’ experience as a Board Member for an NGO in Wellington, Lauren also recognises the wider and deeper impacts of staffing issues and the importance of addressing them swiftly, decisively and in a sensitive manner.

Lauren is passionate about continuous improvement and brings a high level of integrity to her work and her professional relationships. Along with a degree in psychology, Lauren applies a unique blend of corporate know-how, practicality and an alternative holistic approach when helping clients to resolve people pressure points. She has also led and been part of high performing teams both in New Zealand and the UK and as a Certified Relationship Coach has found great joy in coaching and mentoring others.
