Lesley has over 8 years’ experience in training and development and coaching and another 20 years successful career experience rich in an interesting blend of people-centred roles.

Approachable, encouraging and supportive, Lesley is passionate about assisting people to move forward. Her friendly and relaxed manner allows her to establish rapport and positive relationships quickly across all levels of an organisation.

Lesley’s own career journey offers useful perspective and value in her work with clients involved in change. She enjoys helping people to see possibilities and move forward positively as they consider personal and career options.

Her career experience includes performing training needs analysis and matching solutions for a wide range of diverse organisations, the successful development and management of a business and the growth of client bases in other businesses.

Lesley’s career coaching experience spans a huge spectrum from young adults planning their first career steps to career mentoring with senior managers building on their strengths and interests. Her career also includes Tutor Accreditation with Marriage Guidance (now Relationships) and work as a Quality Surveyor for Accreditation within the health sector.

Lesley is committed to her own professional development and is currently studying towards the Graduate Diploma in Career Development from AUT. She holds the Graduate Certificate in Career Development along with a Diploma in Teaching (NZGSE), a BBS (Massey) and a Diploma in Physiotherapy.  Lesley is also qualified to administer the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).

She is a professional member of the Career Development Association of New Zealand (CDANZ) and a member of both the Human Resource Institute of New Zealand (HRINZ) and the Nelson Tasman Chamber of Commerce. Lesley is also an active Rotarian and has held several positions of responsibility within Rotary International.
