With over 20 years of management experience, Lisa brings a depth of knowledge to CDL of what it takes to help people help themselves. Lisa has a great understanding of what makes people tick and is able to build rapport quickly and connect with each person at their own level.
Lisa seeks to assist people to make sustainable changes. She helps people to identify and address issues and provides them with practical tools and resources to implement changes with confidence.
Having enjoyed a career in the corporate sector, Lisa transitioned into coaching when she identified an unmet need in her community. She is passionately driven by the opportunity to make a difference in peoples’ lives by providing the opportunity for people to openly talk about and share future goals without the fear of being judged.
Lisa has strong professional networks throughout the employment sector in Northland and delights in using those networks to assist people in realizing their potential. For those who are in active job search, Lisa focuses on helping people to get their CV into the ‘to be interviewed pile’ and consistently interfaces with recruitment companies to support clients in helping them to identify and land the next job.
As a Member of the Career Development Association of New Zealand (CDANZ), Lisa abides by high professional and ethical standards. In coaching Lisa make a positive contribution to career education, career advocacy, career governance and career practice.
Lisa also holds a Diploma in Career Guidance and Counselling and is currently studying towards an Advanced Diploma.
