Originally from Taranaki, Michelle has over ten years’ experience in Human Resources, Recruitment and Career Consulting, both in New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
Michelle has worked directly with commercial and industrial clients in staff recruitment as well as providing one on one and group facilitated career counselling, assisting with goal setting, career planning, career assessments, job search, work placement and CV development.
For several years Michelle has provided vocational rehabilitation services for ACC clients, obtaining work trials and identifying suitable job options for clients with injuries and providing job search coaching.
Working in the disability field and assisting disabled individuals into mainstream employment has further enhanced Michelle’s career consulting experience.
Michelle also advises and supports non-rehab clients to assist with career change, returning to the workforce, school leavers and graduates, and those people facing redundancy.
As a mother of two young children, Michelle relishes the challenges that come with achieving work life balance.
Michelle holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communication. She is currently completing the Graduate Certificate in Career Development through Auckland University of Technology.
Michelle is a Member of the Career Development Association of New Zealand and the Career and Transition Education Association, Aotearoa, New Zealand.
